Coding & Design Workshop
Workshop
I am an instructor at Le Wagon's 9-week intensive coding bootcamp, where I specialize in teaching HTML, CSS, CSS Components, Bootstrap, Layouts, and Product Design Sprint. In the introductory evenning workshop, I focus on teaching the essentials of UX and UI Design.
During the workshop, participants learn about various design resources and explore different aspects of the design sprint methodology. They are introduced to the process of defining the target users of an app and understanding their needs. I guide them through the process of building interactive mockups using Figma, a popular design tool.
One of the main objectives of the workshop is to help participants grasp the core concept of user journey mapping. They learn how to identify the key steps a user takes when interacting with an app or website and how to translate that into a visual representation. By understanding the user journey, participants can make informed decisions during the design process.
Another important skill taught in the workshop is prototyping. I guide participants in creating prototypes that showcase the functionality and interactions of their product ideas. This hands-on experience allows them to validate their designs and make improvements before moving forward with development.
Overall, the workshop provides a comprehensive introduction to UX and UI Design, equipping participants with the foundational knowledge and practical skills necessary to create user-centered digital products.
